Description On a balcony over looking the boulevard
Caption “Ofra Zimbalista creates universal images unfettered by time and space. The human forms in her sculpture installations are created with a casting technique using realistic figures – family members and friends, and are presented each time in a different combination, another context, and a new role. Her art evolved naturally and systematically, and looking back it seems as though at each stage she took stock of the end result and used her conclusions as the basis for moving forward, in the only way that seemed to her to be correct or even possible. In her words: ‘a work begets a work.’”
