Description A monument to those who died in the Independence war
Caption The monument is in Hakovshim Park that once separated Tel Aviv from Yafo, near the Hasan Bey Mosque, and a short walk from the Dolphinarium where a suicide bombing took place. This monument, in this park, so calm and peaceful with benches and tables for picnics or games, serves to remind us that in Israel, history is not past, and the present may not be what it looks like.
