Description An celebration of books that is both architectural and sculptural
Caption Boris Zabarov was born in Minsk in 1935, on the cusp of World War ll and much of his family was displaced, or worse, by the German invasion. He began his study of art in Minsk, then moved to Leningrad, the Crimea, Moscow, and finally Paris where he may still be living. He supported himself for years illustrating books, which explains the theme of this sculpture.
