Description A folded frame on an overlook with a view of Jordan
Caption "Hadany's refusal to be associated with a specific category is an essential element of his work. Throughout his entire artistic career he has spurned the fetters of convention. He has not developed what is usually referred to as a "personal style" and, unlike other artists, carries no characteristic label. He deliberately rejects all routine recurrence of form and content: "Our culture has created a problematic image around the artist, since it needs to define and place the artist's work, to pigeonhole him or her properly. This may help to turn the artist into a cultural brand name but interferes with his inner freedom." Hadany takes absolute liberty with the artistic experiments that interest him: 'To see with a clear head,' he says.
